A work update can use the same source notes as a written message: the current position, what supports it, what is unresolved and what happens next. Preparing those notes gives you something reliable to refer to.

This lesson builds a short written update that you could also use as speaking notes. It does not assess delivery, listening or difficult-conversation skills. A well-structured script cannot guarantee that a discussion goes as planned.
