A house separates indoor conditions from the weather while allowing planned air exchange, drainage and drying. Its roof, walls, openings and floor form the building envelope. Their junctions matter as much as the large surfaces.

Excess moisture can damage materials and support mould. A wet patch is a reason to investigate, but it does not identify the entry point or tell you which repair will work. Start with the construction and observations, not a product.
