A useful selection connects a room’s design heat loss with an emitter’s output at the proposed water and room temperatures. The estimate includes its assumptions about outside temperature, construction and ventilation.

An installer then checks emitter data, available water flow, controls, mounting and the heat source. A catalogue wattage alone does not prove a room will be comfortable. Use the comparison to ask what a quote has established and what still needs checking.
