A first project can use a sound surface that needs no abrasion. Sanding produces dust; identifying it and controlling exposure come before choosing a mask. A generic FFP2 instruction cannot cover every material and task.

Use the actual filler, coating and equipment instructions. If work requires dust controls you cannot provide, use a prepared practice surface or ask for help. Unknown old coatings, textured material, structural movement and rot are outside this exercise.
