Tools affect how paint is distributed and the texture left behind. Choose a brush or sleeve compatible with the coating and the actual surface, then practise loading it on a suitable sample.

Price alone cannot predict the finish. A manageable tool in good condition, used within its instructions, is more useful than an expensive tool that does not suit the task.
