A frozen call and a web page that will not load are symptoms, not component names. Wi-Fi is the local radio connection; the router connects your home network towards the provider. The device, local links, provider and online service can each contribute to a problem.
Record what fails, when it started and whether it affects one task, one device or several. Try a fresh request rather than relying on a video that may already be buffered. Confirm whether a phone is using home Wi-Fi or mobile data.
The examples below let you practise interpreting symptoms without changing a live network. Only test equipment you own or are authorised to use; keep passwords, addresses and private logs in protected records.
If a fault interrupts a connected telephone, alarm or support service, contact the provider promptly and explain the dependency. Do not delay that contact or interrupt essential equipment for a comparison.
